Wasting Food at a Buffet Complaint
I don’t own a restaurant but I know that there are some people that restaurants would rather not see in their establishment. I, as a patron, can’t stand these people either who go to a buffet and waste food. So, on behalf of restaurants if you’re one of those people or know someone who waste food then I have a major problem with you.
Let’s say that I’m dining in a restaurant that’s serving brunch, breakfast, lunch or dinner buffet style. I’m really enjoying myself when all of a sudden, here comes a group off at folk to make my day or evening. I hear them placating each other, “I’m going to put a hurting on this food. “
Another group says, “Yes I’m gonna get my money’s worth. They happily go to the buffet and fill their plates with mountains of food that they can not possibly eat. They then eat a few bites, put it aside and go for more food to waste.
To say that I’m infuriated at these pigs would be an understatement. Don’t they realize that by pigging out and wasting good food, the owner will inevitably be forced to raise the price of the buffet to compensate for the misuse of food. That includes you and me, friend.
Now, they know darn well that they don’t eat pig feet, lox or whatever the heck it is when they pile on their plates with mountains of food. My advice, why couldn’t they just get items that they know that they will enjoy and eat? Why not get a little now and come back for more later on?I have been to many buffets including those in Vegas. This practice of wasting food crosses racial lines, social status and economic statuses as well. For some people, they believe that buffet food is meant to be wasted and that my friends is a waste.
