We all have difficult people at our jobs. Whether you work at home or not but no one cares about these people. So, I don’t want to talk to anyone about what these coworkers are doing. After all, I don’t know these people, they don’t know me. I don’t have the power to change your situation and I don’t want to hear about it.
Just the other day, my friend called me complaining about XYZ who was mean to her at work. Apparently this person doesn’t like my friend and she caught her gossiping to another coworker about my friend’s outfit. Well, my friend was so distraught about this.
She felt all bad inside and basically couldn’t believe that someone at work would not like her outfit.Hello people, you go to work to ummmmm work not socialize. If you like your darn outfit then that should be good enough. Who cares if someone else doesn’t like it? Jeez.
Instead of worrying about a coworker not liking something of yours, you so need to get over, move on and don’t care.Do not tell me about it. I have my own problems, real problems, and I don’t want to hear about your purple pants fiasco. Not only did this friend put me to sleep talking about their coworker not liking their outfit but it made me realize how trivial people can be.
As adults we should have learned by now that not everyone is going to like you. In fact, there will be many people who don’t like you at all. And, that’s OK. It doesn’t matter one bit. As long as you like yourself, that is all that matters. You are the one that is in control of your own feelings and if you allow someone to spoil your mood because of their dislikes then “shame on you.”
Enough said!

Don’t worry about your overindulgence in food and liquor during the holidays after all you had an excuse and so did I. It’s OK that we fell off our horse but it’s not ok to stay on the ground. So get up, dust yourself and let’s make a plan to get back to a healthy way of life.
First of all whatever happened in the past is over and done which includes our overindulgence of food and liquor. Now the holidays are gone and the New Year is here.
Our excuse is over and we had a good time while it lasted. Now we must get about the business of making a plan to get back to a healthier lifestyle.
Now, see yourself living a healthy lifestyle again since everything starts in the mind. Actually see your self doing what ever it is that you need to do to be healthy and stop overindulging in food and liquor. That means that you see yourself eating healthier as well as getting your buns moving on your own, at a gym or with a personal trainer. Just visualize success.
Now make your plan to achieve this means. Your plan will be one that you will follow to achieve your goal. It may read that you will eat three meals a day in which you will consume 1500 calories or less food and exercise at least four times a week for 1hour. Now began to implement your plan and enjoy the fact that you are finished overindulging in food and liquor. Feel free to modify your plan as need in order to achieve your goals.
In closing, you can get back on track after overindulging. All you need to do is get over you’re your past actions, see yourself living a healthier lifestyle, last but not least make and implement your plan. Happy New You!

I’m so tired of people who complain about stupid stuff all the time. After all, if you’re going to complain then complain about stuff that matters. Don’t complain about stupid stuff that makes no sense. I have this one friend whom I’ll call Sandy. She complains about everything. She complains about her shoes not fitting, she complains about her dog barking too much, she even complains about her husband farting too much. I mean, come on. If her shoes don’t fit , get new ones and if her dog barks too much, train him not to and if her hubby poots too much, well….deal with it. Everyone poots. Come on Sandy.
Sometimes I wish I had a magic want to wave over people’s heads (like Sandy’s) that would only allow them to complain about important stuff. Stuff that really matters!

Many people today look to the outer (outside forces – people and things) to find gratification instead of focusing within. Each of us is equipped to handle anything that might be presented to us in life. Until you understand this, you may have a hard time.
What I’ve learned is that you have to believe and trust in yourself. One of the reasons people don’t believe in themselves is that they don’t feel worthy. They think that other people are more worthy that they are because they are old, young, black, white, purple, rich, poor and etc.
G Mama is here to tell you today that you have the right to be happy, whole, and complete. You are one special person as deserving as anyone else no matter what you race, creed or national origin. So whatever your dreams, G Mama wants you to believe in yourself and just go for them.
Remembering that each of us is an individualized expressions complete with ideas, fully clothed and ready to be brought into fruition.

Hey, my name is G Mama and I am an educator who discovered the internet a few years ago. I have a B.S., a M.A., a M.S. and a P.H.D. in Life.
To be honest, I had no interest in the ‘net at first but the more my daughter talked about it, the more I decided that I had to get online. And, once I discovered the ‘net, I didn’t look back.
This blog is my gift back to the community.Like many of you, I have very strong opinions and am not afraid to tell it like I see it. Some think I am opinionated but I really just want to share my knowledge with others. Knowledge that will hopefully keep you from making some of the stupid mistakes I made in the past.
At G Mama Blog, I will discuss a ton of stuff including current events, relationships, finance, etc. In essence, I will share my views, criticism and my knowledge with you. I will not hold anything back and I will in essence tell it like it is.
Are you ready to get started? Then, check back every single day for a fresh blog entry.
